Japanese translation of the Global Nutrition Report now available

The 2016 Global Nutrition Report is available.

On 17th April, Save the Children, Results, World Vision, the Network for Action Against Malnutrition, Parliamentary Association for Improving Nutrition for Mothers and Children hosted a 2016 Global Nutrition Report Seminar in Tokyo, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

220 attendees represented parliamentarians and relevant ministries, academia, private sectors and civil societies.  Dr Emorn Udomkesmalee, GNR co-chair, gave a presentation on the 2016 report and its implications for Japan. Dr. Sylvia Szabo (Save the Children/UK) focused on ‘leaving no one behind’, Dr. Abdoulaye Ka (Office of the Prime Minister-Senegal) discussed successful malnutrition strategies in Senegal; and Ms. Tomoko

Tatsunokuchi from TANITA underlined the importance of healthy workplaces.  The event ended with a panel discussion to reflect on what is needed to transform promise to actual impact. You can access the Japanese translation of the report here.
